Event Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be considered and determined by the date written cancellation is received at the WPA office. Cancellation of a meeting registration must be submitted in writing (email is considered in writing). No refund will be issued seven (7) days prior to date of event, but may be transferred to another individual of the same Non-Member or Membership Category. Specific cancellation rules may apply to individual events and supersede this policy. Any exception to the cancellation policies may be considered by the Board of Directors if requested by the registrant.

| The increase in methamphetamine-induced psychosis among our clients makes it difficult to determine their true mental health needs, sometimes even long after their last use. This can lead to misdiagnosis followed by a chain of misdirected resources and worse outcomes for clients. This presentation will discuss the effects of methamphetamine use on the brain and body; the rates of methamphetamine use across racial populations and ages; the risk factors for developing methamphetamine-induced psychosis; and how to effectively diagnose methamphetamine-induced psychosis versus schizophrenia. |

Colette Cullen, Psy. D.Dr. Cullen earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UW-Superior in 1996 followed by her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in 2005 and was licensed in the State of Wisconsin in 2007. Doctoral Internship was completed with the DOC from 1999-2000. She was hired into the DOC in 2001 and worked in supermax, medium, and minimum-security institutions. In 2013 she transferred to DCC covering counties in Regions 5 and 8. Currently covers 12 counties in southern Region 5 and western Region 8. |
